This time I had a 6mm kidney stone that got stuck. It was not awesome.
But pushing a button the give myself my own meds was awesome. And as always, those heated oven blankets they put on you at the hospital were awesome. And sleeping in a dark room all by myself with no kids coming in to interupt me with their "needs" was also awesome. It was almost a vacation. Except for the throwing up and being in agony part. You gotta take what you can get though. Snort.
Here is my Currently: Enjoy it, you kidney stone free kittens!
The three year old is, indeed winning. he's latched himself on to her back like a parasite and it spitting into her ear. She's laughing though- so I don't think I have to rescue her.
The rest are self-explanatory. And I'm sort of wonky at the moment anyway. Tomorrow will have to be my catch up day for the Monday and Tuesday Linkys I like. No one will mind to terribly will they? I think I have an excuse this time....
This is what a 6mm stone looks like compared to a penny:
No. Just no. And there's a 1cm one in there somewhere? I'm going to go sing "Jesus Loves Me" until I fall asleep.

ReplyDeleteI gave up playing the lottery after playing the same numbers for more than 7 years. Good luck on that one and, if you do win, invite us for the celebration party :D
Take care of yourself and get some rest!

So sorry you have been in such pain. I know right where you're at. I had my first kidney stone when I was 8 months pregnant with my second child. I honestly thought I was in labor the pain was so bad. Then I have had 3 other episodes over the years. No fun! On a positive note you will get to see the cutie radiologist again. Hang in there and who knows maybe you will win the lottery!
